Hi, my name is Sharon, Sharon Moorer. I'm from Woodstock, Georgia. And I came to Tijuana to have gastric sleeve. The driver was just lovely, fantastic. He was waiting for me when I got off the plane. So he was right there. And I actually had a friend that was joining me and we were able to . . . He took care of everything, brought us right here and walked us in, brought our bags in. Beautiful. Well, I would just like to say that I was not able to receive bariatric surgery at home in America. My insurance did not cover it, and I couldn't afford $25,000 out of pocket. So I feel really fortunate to have found Oasis of Hope. It is a full-service hospital, fully accredited. The ICU unit, lab, x-ray, everything soup to nuts is here. It's a modern-day facility, the staff, the doctors, I couldn't ask for better. Here at Oasis of Hope, I had my surgery yesterday, a vertical gastric sleeve. And I can't believe just how incredible I feel considering I just had major surgery. I literally was up and walking within 20 minutes after coming back to my room from recovery. And I really have not had any issues. And I'm just so happy that I've been able to do this. They were phenomenal. From the day that I got here, I started meeting the doctors that were part of my surgery team, the anesthesiologist, the generalist, and then the surgeon. And they all spent as much time as I wanted them to spend. They answered all of my questions. They didn't seem to be in a hurry. And I think what I even appreciated more was the follow-up. I would say to anyone that is considering some type of bariatric surgery, they should come here. And even if you can't afford surgery closer to home, it's just a beautiful facility. I feel like I've been at a spa, quite frankly. I think it's highly affordable, and you're not cutting corners in any way, shape, or form. I was actually very, very pleased to find out that the Oasis of Hope bariatric team will follow up with me for five years. The pain medication that I need to leave with so I don't have to get home and figure out, you know, what to do next. Everything is already put in place for me. And I would just encourage you to . . . I personally could not go another year struggling with obesity and you don't have to. There is hope and it's at Oasis of Hope.
